On a Clear Day- Mt. Rainier

I am going to run a series of these shots because the grandeur is breathe taking and they will visually define the process that I follow on a shot. I mean what a joy to have the scene grab you. I think this is why we do what we do.
From a clarity point of view, can you get more striking than this shoot? The key is however the composition. Looking at the scene prior to the shoot, with a tripod, the mountain was literally telling how it liked things. With the sloping hillsides and the roads converging at the middle distance, it was like an X marked the spot decision. Looking up from the X the incredible mountaintop looms.
